A proud son of the Oneida Nation, Jon Wheelock (aka J Council) will pull you in with a soul ballad only to turn around the next song and rip a primal howl at home in any garage rock band. The 2018 WAMI Emerging Artist of the Year and the first artist-in-residence at Cory Chisel's The Refuge Fundation, Wheelock has been a treasure in the Fox Valley for several years and this will be his first visit his first visit to our area. He has shared the stage with Nora Jones and Jacob Dylan and been written about by Billboard and Rolling Stone.
